How personal information is handled on the public website, in correspondence and when authorised users access Housebuilder Data Studio.

Information processed
Public-site infrastructure may process request metadata such as IP address, browser details, requested URL and security events. Correspondence may include a sender's name, email address and message. The protected service may also process an authorised user's email address, assigned role, authentication metadata and security or activity audit records. Public property and development research is not intended to include buyer or customer personal data.
Purpose and lawful basis
Information is used to answer enquiries, authenticate authorised users, operate and secure the service, investigate faults or misuse, and maintain an audit trail. The lawful bases relied on are legitimate interests in communicating about, providing and protecting the research service and, where applicable, taking steps connected with or performing an agreement.
Cookies and analytics
The application does not add advertising or audience-analytics cookies to these public pages. The protected workspace uses Cloudflare Access for authentication, which may use necessary cookies and process technical request data.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides DNS, traffic security and access-control services. Railway provides application hosting and storage. These providers may process technical data in the countries where they operate, subject to their contractual and privacy safeguards.
Sharing and retention
Personal information is not sold. It may be shared with the service providers above, professional advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect legal rights or meet a legal obligation. Correspondence, access and audit information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected and for security, operational or legal requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact the operator to exercise a right. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
